It’s safe to say a lot of people are ready to move on from fusions and
hybrids. But images of the first few Spiz’ikes set for 2010 are
definitely catching some eyes. Both Fresh Since ‘85 pairs are pretty much a shoe-in for many, and so might these be. Introducing a new element to the Spiz’ike
capsule, perforated leather on the vamp and upper create a new feel for
the silhouette. Though nicknamed “Grapes,” the colors don’t
necessarily make a direct cue to the original form of the name.
Nonetheless, a dope pair. Not set out to drop for a while!

Black/White-Varsity Red-Stealth
New colorways of the Air Jordan Spiz’ike have been popping up left and
right lately. We’ve recently showed you some sneak previews of some
upcoming Spiz’ike colorways like the Mars Blackmon edition, the almost “Grape” version and the Black/White/Red pair that was recently mistaken for a DJ Clark Kent design.
Now, we get to feast our eyes on yet another new installment in the
Spiz’ike series, this time taking one of the simpler color blocking
approaches seen so far. The shoe sports a solid black patent leather
upper with a touch of suede and some additional Red and Light Grey
accents. No word yet on the release info, but you can expect these to
hit stores some time this year.

Black/White-Infrared
Many of you labeled the Jordan Spizike “Grape”a must-have upon first seeing the sneak peek. Along with “Grape” colorway, JB will also release a black/white-infrared colorway of the Spizike some time in 2010.
It features a predominately black base with multiple infrared accents around the collar area, the midfoot section and the midsole. One of the more interesting features on this shoe is the cement printdesigns located toe area and the heel panel. This colorway Spizike officially releases in 2010.

The Spiz’ike is going to be a major attention getter next year. Along with the Spike Lee inspired colorway we will get this Spiz’ike Grape colorway. Packed with emerald and purple hits on the upper the shoe costs a speckled midsole, white elephant print, and an icey sole. Look for these to drop summer of 2010 for $175

Yesterday, we got a look at the upcoming Air Jordan Spizike Fresh Since 1985 edition. Today, we have a closer look at the kicks, which have drawn parallels to the Air Jordan 3 True Blue, Air Jordan Cement and Air Jordan Fire Red. The inner-lining of the sneaker features a repeating print of Do You Know and the insole has a print that reads Fresh Since 1985.
The kicks are expected to release in January 2010, however 23isking has a few pairs of the kicks available now.

First up is the Air Jordan III where the sole, midsole and elephant print comes from. The wing on the side of the shoes that holds the lace loops comes from the Air Jordan IV. The uppers which are the main silhouette of the shoes as well as the netting are from the Air Jordan V. From the Air Jordan VI comes the tongue and lace lock of the shoe. The Back Tab/Pull Tab from the Air Jordan IX. And, from the Air Jordan XX, the laser graphics on the inside liner.

The Air Jordan Spizike was made to show appreciation to Mars Blackmon aka Spike Lee. Spike’s part in the rising of the Air Jordan was very crucial. A lot of people may remember the funny commercials Spike Lee’s alias Mars Blackmon from the movie She’s Gotta Have it.
What makes the Air Jordan Spizikes so special is the fact they are made up of a total of six different Air Jordan’s, the Jordan III (midsole), Jordan IV (Wings), Jordan V (Uppers), Jordan VI (Tongue), Jordan IX (Pull Tab) also every Air Jordan Spizike to release (besides the White/Varsity Red-Classic Green) has the Jordan rising sun logo at the heel which originally release on the Jordan IX, and last but not least the Jordan XX (Laser on the inside liner).
So far two pairs have released which the first color way is White/Varsity Red-Classic Green and was a East Coast exclusive. This pair was indeed limited, while only 4032 pairs released, but rumor has it some pairs did release unnumbered. The second color way up is the Black/Varsity Red-Classic Green was a Life Style release and places like Eastbay and sneaker shops with an LS account.
Confirmed color ways of the Air Jordan Spizikes to release are True Blue, Fire Red, Do the Right Thing inspired and White/Varsity Red-Argon Blue. At the moment a rumor which is turning out every day to be more and more a confirmation is a OG color way will release which is White/Black Cement. This color way of the Air Jordan Spizike is after the Air Jordan IV color way, which was also featured in Spike Lee’s movie “Do the Right Thing” were Buggin Out had his brand new Air Jordan’s scuffed by a pedestrian walking his bike.
