The Air Jordan IX (9) was the first model that was not worn by Michael Jordan. The Air Jordan Retro 9 (IX) Black, Light Olive and True Red is a color-way that was re-released by the Jordan Brand is often referred to as “Olive 9’s.”
The Air Jordan Retro 9 (IX) Olive are definitely one of the harder to find Air Jordan IX, this is due to the rare color-way and age. The Olive 9’s were originally released on March 9th, 2002 and retailed for $125. However, its rarity has caused its price to rise.

Nicknamed Flint Grey or French Blue by many Air Jordan collectors, the Air Jordan 9 (IX) Retro White, French Blue – Flint Grey was originally released in 2002. It featured a simple yet stylish color-way to go along with the Jordan IX sleek design.
A few Air Jordan IX Retro’s were released in 2002, but these were one of the most popular pairs and its demand continues to grow. 2002 was the first and last time the Air Jordan 9 (IX) Retro Flint Grey released, that has caused an influx in its price. As we most know, the Original Air Jordan 9 (IX) was not worn by Michael Jordan, but the Air Jordan Original 9 (IX) Black / Red was a nice addition to ones collection. The Color scheme on the Air Jordan OG 9 (IX) is Black – Dark Charcoal – True Red.
